Project Overview
A rooftop mechanical system consisting of more than 20 air-cooled heat pump units was installed for a building. Each unit weighs approximately 1.2 tons and operates continuously under varying load conditions.
Due to the structural constraints of the existing rooftop and the fixed layout of piping systems, the installation height of the equipment base could not be increased. The project therefore required a vibration isolation solution that could deliver high isolation efficiency within very limited vertical space.

The customer required an effective vibration control solution capable of reducing vibration transmission to the building structure while maintaining system stability and safety.

To meet the project requirements, Anlijing engineers designed a customized vibration isolation solution based on the ALJ-0401500 large-deflection spring vibration isolator.
Solution Highlights
Selection of large-deflection spring isolators to achieve superior low-frequency vibration isolation
Implementation of a side-support mounting configuration, allowing installation without increasing the overall equipment height
Integration of adjustable leveling capability to ensure stable equipment operation
This solution successfully addressed both space limitations and vibration control requirements.
The isolator features a 50 mm large deflection spring design, achieving a natural frequency as low as 2.3 Hz, which significantly reduces low-frequency vibration transmission from rooftop mechanical equipment.
The isolator is equipped with dual-side limit screws, preventing excessive displacement during strong winds, equipment startup, or sudden load changes, ensuring operational safety.
The adjustable height design allows rapid leveling during installation and maintenance, ensuring long-term stable operation of the heat pump units and extending equipment service life.
